About Eurovision Blog

Eurovision Blog aims to take an irreverent but affectionate look at the musical institution that is the Eurovision Song Contest.

From song reviews through to Eurovision nostalgia, political voting and the UK’s recent reversal of fortune on the Eurovision stage, if we’ve got an opinion on it we’ll be writing about it.

Team Eurovision is made up of fans who love the contest but don’t take it too seriously, and all of whom have the common goal of wanting to see Portugal actually win the thing before the century is out.

The blog is edited by Caroline Westbrook, an entertainment journalist who has written for Empire, BBC News Online, What’s On TV’s website, Reader’s Digest and Guardian Unlimited,  among others.

  3. Nice site abt Eurovision. I have only one post abt Georgia and Russia. Very sad the politics have been involved in just a song contest… I hope this will change soon and countries will adopt a better approach to that

Love your Eurovision Blog. Just to let you know, our blog might be of interest to your readers.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2010 will be our main focus for the next 2 months in the lead up to Oslo. If you can find room for a link or a mention on your blog, that would be great.
    All the best,

  14. Dear Caroline

    What a great blog!

I have a website which I think might interest your readers.
I work for an Australian-based website Kaggle which is currently running a forecasting competition to predict the voting of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. We have had quite a lot of coverage already from statistics blogs and technology blogs but we’d love to get some exposure in the Eurovision community.
If you can find room to mention us or give a link to our site http://kaggle.com/Eurovision2010
    that would be great.

    Kind regards
    Stephanie
